SEASON'S GREETINGS TO ONE AND ALL
It's the end of term, and time to get things sorted here for Christmas, as well as some bits and pieces of work. But the tree is up, with its lights shining, so we are on our way. So, if I'm not back on the blog, happy Christmas to all of you and hope you have a really good time yourselves. And a brilliant New Year!!!
Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of being "Guest Author" at WEDNESBURY PRIMARY BOOK QUIZ FINAL, where the four fantastic teams of finalists (of four pupils each!) had fun battling their Book Knowledge. Congratulations to all the super readers who took part: HARVILLS HAWTHORN SCHOOL, ST. MARY'S RC SCHOOL, MESTY CROFT SCHOOL & OLD PARK SCHOOL. Those questions were tough, and you must all have brains the size of a library! Thank you for asking me along - and a quick wave to the readers of TAMESIDE SCHOOL, who came along to give their support, and all the primary schools involved in earlier rounds.
"Poems are GREAT, poems are COOL
Especially in SAINT OSWALD'S SCHOOL!"
Many thanks to everyone at ST OSWALD'S SCHOOL,BRADFORD, for asking me to their POETRY DAY on Tuesday.
