Having had a delightful time visiting the York libraries, and telling stories at RHS Harlow Carr, I have been at my desk delving deeper into a story I'm working on. When it's good, it seems very hopeful, when it isn't, it's horrid. At the stage where I have to have fait in the wretched thing, and that's sometimes rather hard to do. "Who will want this rubbish?" come sinto the head fairly often, especially in the middle of the night. But I MUST MUST MUST get it done, before all the schools go back!
Have also had sightings of the roughs of two picture books for Watts, which makes one feel more encouraged. And is, of course, rather exciting!
