Must mention a great couple of days, two weeks ago, at CHRIST THE KING primary school, Bramley, Leeds. A great big thank you to the nice staff and the brilliant children (as well as the glamorous assistants in Year 6.)It was fun!
That week ended with a train-trip to London to meet some more friendly editors to discuss one or two possible projects, as well as having pannacotta twice! (Thank you!)
On Tuesday last week, I made a long-intended visit to BECKWITHSHAW Primary School, North Yorkshire, to chat to all the children. Some had helped to "road-test" the early stages of "Mr. Pod & Mr Piccalilli", so I wanted to show them the final published version, which is dedicated to them. It was a Very Special Visit! (And yes, I am replying to your letters almost right now!)
On Wednesday, I was chatting to both Year One classes at WESTERN PRIMARY. Here's a big wave to all of you - and thank you so much for all the letters that popped through my letterbox yesterday.
And now, this week, courtesy of this term's SATS, comes the quiet time of May, and a chance to catch up with some very urgent writing work! Get in that supply of chocolate biscuits! I'll be back in touch again sometime!
