Waving to Wiltshire, and to Oxfordshire, too! First hello to STRATFORD-SUB-CASTLE C.E. PRIMARY SCHOOL, near Salisbury. Really admired the huge "Spectre of Hairy Hector" characters on your hall wall - even if the Spectre did start waving his green hairy hands! Oo-er! - and the Rickety Hall "rooms" I spied looked fascinating. It was a fun day and nice to meet you all!
Second hello to PINEWOOD SCHOOL, at Bourton, near Swindon. I really enjoyed sharing stories with all the Children in Need "Fancy Pants" in the Pre-Prep Department. Great to talk to all the "bigguns" in the Main School, too. Hope you enjoyed the sessions. Very cheering to see that those lucky people sitting on the soft, comfy sofas did NOT actually go to sleep!
A more distant hello to THE WELLWISHER BOOKSHOP, who had helped with the visits. I'd hoped to call in and see the new, expanded shop - with all its four windows - but timings did not work out. Bother, bother! Thanks for your help, all the same.
